Tryouts for the Boys’ 2012 season will take place as follows:
The following players will participate in match play to determine where they fit in the DHHS Boys’ Tennis program this year. The schedule for these players can be found by seeing Justin at school.

The following players will tryout on Saturday, January 7th from 8:00-9:15. Players will be rated on the following criteria: forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve, footwork and athleticism. Players will then be placed in match play (8 game pro sets) to determine where they fit in the DHHS Boys’ Tennis program this year.

The remaining players will try out the following way. Friday January 6th anyone not named above will report to DHHS tennis courts at 3:00pm. Players will be rated on the following criteria: forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve, footwork and athleticism. After Friday, players will be put into groups to play matches and/or asked to attend a Saturday tryout. The exact schedule for Saturday, January 7th is to be determined as it will depend on the number of boys who come to tryouts on Friday. Finally, the exact number of spots available has not yet been determined, but we will only have a JV and Varsity team this season.
